Di Zhao Flutes and Piccolos
All Di Zhao Flutes are padded with Pisoni pads. The smooth key action, fast response, and excellent resonance make Di Zhao flutes stand out from the competition. Each instrument is semi-handmade in that each key is 1) individually hand fitted for a precise fit without the side to side play found in machine made flute mechanisms; 2) all pads are partially shimmed, a process that is employed only for professional flutes; 3) and particular attention is paid to the head joint that is hand-crafted with undercuts and overcuts that make the sound quality full and easy to play. Each flute has also been tested and adjusted in the U.S. before being shipped to you. All flutes are tuned to pitch 442. The wooden flutes and piccolos have been carefully selected, treated and seasoned to resist changes in temperature and humidity.
