This flute ensemble is an upbeat ensemble of professional flutists who frequently perform in the New York-New Jersey area for a wide variety of events. The ensemble's six members live up to their name by attracting and engaging their audiences in a highly enjoyable musical experience, drawing from an eclectic repertoire, including baroque, classical, romantic, contemporary, pop, and jazz selections.

The New Jersey Flute Society, established in 2009, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in flute performance and pedagogy, and providing an encouraging environment for students, amateurs, and professionals alike. Centered in Manhattan, the New York Flute Club offers programs for professionals, students and amateurs, including a professional concert series, community outreach, an ensemble program, a young artists' competition, and of course, the annual Flute Fair.

A one day workshop style program directed by Virginia Shulze-Johnson welcomes flutists of all ages and levels. Program includes level appropriate coaching on selected ensemble repertoire, group warm up program and a concert at the end of the day. This event is being sponsored by the Drew University Music Department with participation and support by New Jersey Flute Society members.
